Wildly Flowering Happy Birthday Card

Welcome to the Crafty Collaborations Share It Sunday Blog Hop. Our theme today is wide open. We get to share whatever we’d like with you.

The Crafty Collaborations Team is comprised of Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators from around the world. Each month we participate in several collaborative projects, including Blog Hops, like this one, to inspire all of us in our passion for crafting. Our goal is to create, share, and inspire every crafter to keep our creative energy flowing.

Here is the card I created with the Wildly Flowering pack of papers and the Wildflower Designs stamp set. I love the color combination of Moody Mauve and Early Espresso.

The layout for the Wildly Flowering Happy Birthday card is from the Freshly Made Sketches 637 (#FMS637) sketch shown below.

Instructions for the Wildly Flowering Happy BIrthday Car

1. Cut a Moody Mauve card base 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ and score at 4 1/4″.
2. Adhere a 5 1/4″ x 4″ mat in Early Espresso to the card front.
3. Layer a 3 1/4″ x 5″ piece of Wildly Flowering Patterned Paper (DSP) to that leaving a small border on the left and a larger border on the right.
4. On a scrap of Basic White, stamp the small flower 3 times leaving room to die cut with the 1 1/4″ circle from the Stylish Shapes dies.
5. Mat those on Moody Mauve circles cut with the 1 5/8″ Deckled Circle die.
6. Pop these up on the right hand edge of the pattterned paper.
7. Stamp Happy Birthday from the Country Birdhouse stamp set on a scrap of Basic White and Die cut with the long thin banner from the Stylish Shapes dies. Pop it up on the front as shown.
8. Add an embellishment or 3!
9. On a 5 1/4″ x 4″ Basic White Mat Stamp the same flower used on the front in Early Espresso in the lower left corner. Scribble a rectangle over it with the Light Moody Mauve Stampin’ Blends.
10. Adhere to the inside of the card.
