The Crafty Collaborations Team is comprised of Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators from around the world. Each month we participate in several collaborative projects, including Blog Hops, like this one, to inspire all of us in our passion for crafting. Our goal is to create, share, and inspire every crafter to keep our creative energy flowing.
Welcome to our Easter Blog Hop! It’s time to think of flowers and springtime and we have ideas to inspire you. My card is made with the Dainty Flowers papers from Sale-a-bration 2023. Many of you have this paper so why not use it to make a few Easter cards?

There are always long thin pieces of designer series papers left over when making cards. This layout is great because it can use those for you. I used the Rectangular Postage Stamp punch to punch several rectangles of about 6 different designs from these long strips. This layout gives you the chance to show off a few different patterns of paper. A small Happy Easter sentiment from the Celebrating You stamp set is just perfect for this card. The Double Oval punch adds a nice touch with it’s scalloped mat for the sentiment, too.
Here is a second card made in landscape orientation and with different colors. Which card is your favorite?

Instructions for the Dainty Flowers Easter Card
- Cut your Fresh Freesia card base 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ and score at 4 1/4″.
- Use the Rectangular Postage Stamp punch to punch at least 6 different patterns. (Remember the back of each piece has a pattern to choose from as well.)
- Adhere the punched pieces in two rows as shown on a 5 1/4″ x 4″ mat of Mossy Meadow. Make sure the second row is staggered in placement from the first row. Trim off the extra pieces that over hang the top and bottom.
- Stamp Happy Easter on a 1 1/4″ wide strip of Basic White and punch with the smaller oval of the Double Oval punch.
- Punch the scalloped oval from a 1 1/2″ wide scrap of Fresh Freesia card stock the same color as the card base. Adhere the two ovals and use dimensionals to attach the sentiment to the card front.
- Adhere the mat to the card base. Add three rhinestones after coloring them with the Dark Fresh Freesia blend.
- Tie a bow with the Fresh Freesia Open Weave ribbon and adhere to the front with a glue dot.
- Cut a Basic White mat 5 1/4″ x 4″ and adhere to the inside of the card base.
