Wildflower Designs Fun Fold Card

Welcome to the April Fancy Folds Blog Hop! We hope to inspire you to make a few fun fold cards. Most are easier than you think and pretty quick as well.

This card is a variation of a Z Fold card with the Wildflower Designs bundle. This is currently on the Last Chance page so when it’s gone, it’s gone.

The Wildly Flowering pack of papers is one of my favorites. I love the color combinations. For my card I used Moody Mauve and Misty Moonlight with a touch of Mossy Meadow.

This Z fold card is quick and easy. It starts with a standard card base and just adds one more score line.

instructions for wildflower fun fold card

Cut a Misty Moonlight card base 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ and score at 2 1/8″ and 4 1/4″. Fold traditionally on the 4 1/4″ score line and then fold back to the left on the other score line.
Adhere a 2″ x 5 3/8″ piece of Wildy Flowering paper to the left side.
Stamp your sentiment in Misty Moonlight ink on the bottom edge of a 2 7/8″ x 4 7/8″ piece of Basic White.
Adhere the Basic White to a 3″ x 5″ piece of Misty Moonlight card stock.
Die cut the scalloped shaped from a 4 1/2″ x 3 1/4″ piece of Moody Mauve card stock. Adhere above the sentiment.
Cut a Basic White piece with the smallest label die and stamp the flower on it in Memento ink.
Color the flower with your Misty Moonlight and Mossy Meadow Stampin’ Blends. Adhere to the front of the card.
On a 5 1/4″ x 4″ piece of Basic White, stamp the same wildflower down the right hand edge with Misty Moonlight ink.
Adhere this piece to the inside of the card.
Add three Misty Moonlight gems from the Tinsel Gems Three pack.

The first 17 Stamp Camps we’ve done are still available to the participants. April’s card class

Join me this month for my Card Class in the Mail- All Occasion Stamp-a-Stack. We’ll make 8 cards (2 of 4 designs) so you’ll have a supply of cards on hand for all occasions. For August we will use the Inspiring Imperfections stamp set.

Cost is $35.00 (local) or $40 (by mail) or free with a minimum of a $50 order (before taxes and shipping and after any Stampin’ Rewards are applied).

Two options – in person or by mail.

In Person – class will be held on the last Wednesday of the month at 6:30 pm.
By mail – Zoom will be held on the last Tuesday of the month at 3 pm. The class will be recorded and the replay available via YouTube if you can’t attend the class. You can substitute stamp sets or add the stamp set/punch to your order and use your own inks.

There is the option to add on the stampset or bundle. You can choose to add the stamp set ($19) or the stamp set and punch bundle ($42.25). Shipping will be on me!
