The Crafty Collaborations Team is comprised of Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators from around the world. Each month we participate in several collaborative projects, including Blog Hops, like this one, to inspire all of us in our passion for crafting. Our goal is to create, share, and inspire every crafter to keep our creative energy flowing.

Today we are sharing our birthday cards. The Trusty Tools bundle has just not seen enough ink in my studio so I used it for a recent class I hosted. We created this card and it was well received.

Night of Navy and Smoky Slate are a great masculine card combination and were perfect for stamping our own paper. And how about that drill? Isn’t that awesome? It was a perfect pairing with that paper from the Take to The Sky paper pack!

instructions for trusty Tools Birthday card

Cut a Smoky Slate card base 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ and score at 4 1/4″.
Adhere a 4″ x 5 1/2″ piece of patterned paper from the Take to The Sky paper pack.
Stamp the hammer, pliers, and paint brush randomly and at different angles on a 3″ x 5 1/2″ piece of Basic White.
Use Smoky Slate ink to stamp the “nuts and bolts” to fill in any spaces.
Adhere the stamped piece to the card front leaving just 1/4″ border on the left.
On a scrap of Smoky Slate, stamp “You are the most awesome” in Night of Navy and die cut with the smallest Deckled Rectangle die.
Die cut the body of the drill from a scrap of Night of Navy card stock.
Die cut the drill bit from a scrap of Crushed Curry card stock. Glue to the drill.
Pop the drill and sentiment up on the front of the card with dimensionals.
Add three Industrial Trinkets with glue dots onto the front of the card.
On a 5 1/4″ x 4″ piece of Basic White, use Night of Navy ink to stamp the head of the hammer in one corner.
Add a bold Happy Birthday to the top of the Basic White. Adhere to the inside.

Saturday, August 17 will be the day you can join us for 7 LIVE presentations of Fun Folds!
You will receive a packet with everything you need to make 7 Fun Fold cards that you complete using your bundle, dsp and embellishments.
A color PDF with instructions to make the 7 cards using the card kits. This will include VIDEOS demonstrating creating these cards as well.

Christmas Stamp a Stack

Join me each month starting in July for my 2024 Christmas Stamp-a-Stack. We’ll make 8 cards each month (2 each of 4 designs) so you’ll be getting ahead on your Christmas cards each month.

Cost is $40 (local) or $45 (by mail) each month or free with a minimum of a $45 order (before taxes and shipping).

Two options – in person or by mail.

In Person – class will be held on the last Monday (July, Aug) or Wednesday (Sept, Oct, Nov) of each month at 6:30 pm.
By mail – Zoom will be held on the last Tuesday of each month at 2:30 pm. The class will be recorded and available via YouTube, to watch (or rewatch) at your convenience. You will substitute your own stamp sets or add the stamp set/dies to your order.

Each month there will be an option to purchase the stamp set or bundle we will be using. Costs will be based on product used.
