You're Fabulous Notes & Totes Card - ChatnCraft with Lorraine

Welcome to Festive Friday #FF0184 where we are celebrating National Wine Day! Below you will see our Inspo List that was inspired by this holiday. We hope the Inspo list will challenge you to create a card or project. Your card doesn’t have to relate to National Wine Day at all! There is a new Festive Friday Challenge every other week.

To play along with us just use three or more items from the inspiration list on your project and link up to the #festivefridaychallenge. You don’t need a blog to enter Festive Friday. Remember, your project does not have to celebrate the actual occasion- just make a card, 3D item, or scrapbook page using 3 items on the list. Here’s another look at my National Wine Day (#FF0184) creation.

My You’re Fabulous Notes & Totes card showcases the new Notes & Totes bundle. I chose the elements of something shiny, bottles, and stitched edges.

I love the infinite possibilities there are for the color and pattern of the bag. I reached for my new pack of Floral Impressions patterned paper and chose a pattern to match Timid Tiger. I am a huge fan of orange and this color is just perfect! The variety of die cuts you can use in the bag is amazing. I included a newsflash, water bottle and bottle of lotion (or hand sanitizer.) How about those sunglasses? They are so cute!

instructions for the You’re fabulous Notes & totes card

Cut a Timid Tiger card base 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ and score at 4 1/4″.
Stamp “suns” all over a 5 1/4″ x 4″ piece of Misty Moonlight card stock using VersaMark ink to give a tone on tone look.
Adhere to the front of the card.
Die cut the tote from a piece of Floral Impressions patterned paper. Fold under the bottom and the two outermost sections.
Die cut the straps and other detail from a Timid Tiger scrap.
Adhere the bottom, seams, and straps to the tote.
Use dimensionals along the outer edged to adhere the tote to the card front. (You want to leave the bag unattached in the center so you can add the die cuts.)
Die cut the water bottle twice- once in Garden Green and once in Timid Tiger. Cut off the cap from the Timid Tiger bottle and add to the Garden Green bottle.
Do the same thing with the pump bottle in Silver Foil and Blackberry Bliss.
Repeat for the sunglasses in Silver Foil and Blackberry Bliss.
Tuck the bottles into the bag adhering with a bit of glue.
Adhere the sunglasses with a dimensional on the lower lens and glue at the top.
Die cut the newspaper and stamp “you’re fabulous” on the top in Timid Tiger.
Add “I’m so glad we’re friends” from the Mixed Labels stamp set. Tuck into the bag WITHOUT adhesive.
Add a few of the orange-y Strawberry Slush and Pretty in Pink gems.
Die cut the suntan lotion in Strawberry Slush and Blackberry Bliss and piece as shown. Stamp several suns on the lotion with Timid Tiger ink.
Adhere to the bottom of the 5 1/4″ x 4″ piece of basic White.
Stamp the sentiment in Timid Tiger.
Adhere to the inside.

Free International Stamp Camp- order Now

Creativity Abounds next international Stamp Camp will be online on June 27-28th and will feature the Celebratory Sips Suite. You can attend free by purchasing all the items in the Suite from me. If you already own these products, purchase $79 from me of anything you want. This is an amazing suite and you won’t want to miss it!

Stamp Camp is for Demos and Customers. You’ll have all kinds of ideas for your classes or personal use. If you already own these products or not all are available, you can choose anything you want totaling $79 or more. You will need the products listed to make all the Make and Take kits as presented, but unavailable items can be purchased and finished anytime after the Stamp Camp.

The Celebratory Sips Stamp Camp includes prerecorded videos and a bundle of written tutorials showing how to make the 13 card kit cards. Live videos showing additional cards and techniques are presented the weekend of the camp. You will have 26 projects and many tips for successful creating with this suite by the time Stamp Camp is over! It’s a great value!

There are challenges and more! Everything happens in a private Facebook Group that will stay on Facebook for as long as Facebook allows it. The first 17 Stamp Camps we’ve done are still available to the participants. We do 3-4 online stamp camps per year and most people who have participated once, do all of them because they are fun, informative, and it’s a really great deal! You will love it! Join me this month for my Card Class in the Mail- All Occasion Stamp-a-Stack. We’ll make 8 cards (2 of 4 designs) so you’ll have a supply of cards on hand for all occasions. For August we will use the Inspiring Imperfections stamp set.

Cost is $35.00 (local) or $40 (by mail) or free with a minimum of a $50 order (before taxes and shipping and after any Stampin’ Rewards are applied).

Two options – in person or by mail.

In Person – class will be held on the last Wednesday of the month at 6:30 pm.
By mail – Zoom will be held on the last Tuesday of the month at 3 pm. The class will be recorded and the replay available via YouTube if you can’t attend the class. You can substitute stamp sets or add the stamp set/punch to your order and use your own inks.

There is the option to add on the stampset or bundle. You can choose to add the stamp set ($19) or the stamp set and punch bundle ($42.25). Shipping will be on me!
