Thank you for joining us on our Blogger’s Choice Hop today. I’ve made a Pumpkin Pie card that uses a layout you will love. I dare say that I think it will become a “GO TO” layout of yours.

These Pumpkin Pie patterned papers are from the Brights 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper pack. These packs come in each of the color families and always have fun patterns in each of the colors. They are perfect to pair with each other, as I did, or with other patterned papers. There will be new patterns coming out with the new catalog!
A simple sentiment and a bit of ribbon or twine and your card is complete. Are you wondering where a Pumpkin Pie ribbon came from? I colored it with my Pumpkin Pie blend. It started out as a Petal Pink ribbon! Blends are the perfect tool for customizing ribbons and embellishments.
Make this Go To Layout with Your Papers
- Cut a card base 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ and score at 4 1/4″.
- Add a Basic White mat cut 5 1/4″ x 4″ to the front and the inside of the card.
- Cut 4 pieces of patterned paper 1″ x 3 3/4″.
- Cut one piece of card stock that matches your card base 1″ x 3 3/4″. Run through an embossing folder.
- Adhere the strips to the front of the card. Angle the outer strips with the top pointing to the outside. The next two strips have the tops pointing inwards. T
- The card stock strip is vertical in the center.
- Add a long rectangular sentiment. Make a ribbon hole
- Add a ribbon and tie a bow around it with Baker’s Twine.
- Add a few pearls.
- If desired, add a sentiment to the inside.
