Welcome to the August Blog Hop for the Ink & Inspiration team of demonstrators. This month we have a Photo and/or Color Challenge to inspire us and you.

I took the color challenge this month. These are not typical colors that I would use together so I went looking for a piece of patterned paper to help me. Here’s what I found!

This piece of patterned paper from the Winter Nest has Gray Granite, Peach Pie, and Pecan Pie in it. I took a bit of liberty and decided the bird’s color was more Blueberry Bushel than Night of Navy.

It’s difficult to see in the photo but I embossed the piece of patterned paper with the Birch Wood 3D embossing folder. It adds a bit of “life” to the trees.

• Garden Green Card Base 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″
• Pecan Pie 3 7/8″ x 5 1/8″
• Patterned Paper 3 3/4″ x 5″
• Gray Granite scrap for die cutting
• Peach Pie scrap for die cutting
• Fussy Cut the bird from patterned paper
• Garden Green thread from Natural Tones Linen Thread pack

Christmas Stamp a Stack November

Join me for my November 2024 Christmas Stamp-a-Stack. We’ll make 8 cards each month (2 each of 4 designs) so you’ll be getting ahead on your Christmas cards each month. We will be using the Artful Amaryllis bundle.

Cost is $40 (local) or $45 (by mail) each month or free with a minimum of a $45 order (before taxes and shipping). Please email me to let me know you are interested in this class.

Sign up for the full 5 months and you’ll receive a $25 bonus in product of your choice. 

Two options – in person or by mail.  

• In Person – class will be held on the last Wednesday (Oct, Nov) of each month at 6:30 pm.
• By mail – Zoom will be held on the last Tuesday of each month at 2:30 pm. The class will be recorded and available via YouTube, to watch (or rewatch) at your convenience.  You will substitute your own stamp sets or add the stamp set/dies to your order. 
• Send me an email to sign up for the Stamp a Stack classes.

Each month there will be an option to purchase the stamp set or bundle we will be using.
