Welcome to our Crafty Collaborations Share It Sunday Blog Hop. Today we get to showcase anything we would like to share. My cards are made using the Winterly Tree Tops bundle with the Nests of Winter papers and the awesome evergreen border die that is part of the bundle.

To make this card, I used the “negative” or inside of the die as a stencil to blend the evergreen boughs along the edge of the birch tree patterned paper. After blending Pool Party ink all the way around the border once, I rotated the stencil and blended Lost Lagoon ink.

I always think it’s a bonus when the dies cut out the images on the patterned paper and that’s how I made these lovely birds. That great sentiment is from the Filled With Cheer Stamp set- an online exclusive. Here’s a look at the blending done on the inside of the card.

I made a second card with the “frame” portion of the evergreen boughs die cut piece. Using the Winter Meadow papers, I had the perfect background.

The birds on this card were stamped and colored with Night of Navy Stampin’ Blends. I used my marker to ink the Sending Thanks stamp from Winterly Tree Tops so I could leave off the second line- it wouldn’t fit on my circle. Both cards have a few Ombre Matte Decorative Dots added for fun!

Blended Background Sending Cheer Card

• Gray Granite card base 4 1/4″ x 11″, score at 4 1/4″
• Lost Lagoon mat 3 5/8″ x 5 1/8″
• Birch piece of Nests Of Winter paper 3 1/2″ x 5″
• Cherry Cobbler scrap
• Basic White 5 1/4″ x 4″ for inside, scrap for sentiment

Sending Thanks Card

• Night of Navy Card Base 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, score at 4 1/4″
• Basic White 5 1/4″ x 4″ – cut 2
• Winter Meadow patterned paper 3 1/2″ x 5″

Christmas Stamp a Stack November

Join me for my November 2024 Christmas Stamp-a-Stack. We’ll make 8 cards each month (2 each of 4 designs) so you’ll be getting ahead on your Christmas cards each month. We will be using the Artful Amaryllis bundle.

Cost is $40 (local) or $45 (by mail) each month or free with a minimum of a $45 order (before taxes and shipping). Please email me to let me know you are interested in this class.

Sign up for the full 5 months and you’ll receive a $25 bonus in product of your choice. 

Two options – in person or by mail.  

• In Person – class will be held on the last Wednesday (Oct, Nov) of each month at 6:30 pm.
• By mail – Zoom will be held on the last Tuesday of each month at 2:30 pm. The class will be recorded and available via YouTube, to watch (or rewatch) at your convenience.  You will substitute your own stamp sets or add the stamp set/dies to your order.
