Warmest Winter Wishes Fun Fold

Welcome to the November Stampin Dreams Blog Hop. Our theme today is ‘Tis the Season.

This is a fun fold card that is easy to make and quite lovely to look at. Here it is opened.

I love the fold/layout so much I also made it using the Modern Christmas suite.

instructions for the Warmest Winter Wishes Fun FOld

1. Cut your Garden Green card base to 5 1/2″ x 7 1/4″ and score at 2” and 6 1/4”
2. Accent pieces on front 5 1/2″ x 2 1/2″ (if patterned paper- Portrait )
3. Patterned Paper 6″ wide by 5 1/2″ tall (landscape, just one side will show),
4. Patterned Paper scrap  1/2″ x 3 3/4″ for inside
5. Hold your card base with the bigger section on the left and the 1” on the right edge, fold both edges so they fold towards the middle. The two sides will not meet.
6. Cut an accent piece cut 5 1/2” x 2 1/2”. It can be patterned paper or card stock. If desired emboss your accent piece, then with the 5 1/2″ side at the top, cut at 1 3/4”.
7. Adhere the 1 3/4” piece on the left front flap and the remaining piece (3/4”) on the right front flap.
8. With 6” x 5 1/2” piece of DSP placed with the long side at across the top of your trimmer, lightly score at 3”. Fold so you see the desired side of the paper on both sides.
9. Glue the folded paper shut.
10. Open the right hand flap and put glue on the inside of it. Adhere the folded DSP onto this flap. Tuck the edge you glued shut into the fold.
11. Fold the right side to the middle first and then fold the left side over it.
12. Stamp a design on a 2 1/4″ white circle and adhere to a 2 1/2″ circle.
13. Adhere the circles to the left flap only.
14. Add a sentiment and bling to the front.
15. Adhere the 1/2” x 3 3/4” strip to the bottom of the inside mat (5 1/4″ x 4″).
16. Add an inside sentiment if desired. Adhere to the inside of the card.
