Vellum Votive Candle Holder!

We love holiday lights at my house! My husband decorates the outside of the house the day after Thanksgiving with as many lights as he can find! (He’s been known to order cases of lights from Amazon!) I love lots of lights indoors. I hang them in the windows, from the railings, and, of course, on the tree. 

Here’s a little light you can whip up easily and make several of to decorate a shelf or mantel. 

To make this you need  3″ x 3″ square of card stock, scored at 1/2″ on all 4 sides and a piece of vellum that is 4″ x 8.5″. 

The video below has all of the instructions you need to make this. (I apologize that I’m not always centered but I think you can still follow along. I have an improved set up now.) 

Note: I used silver heat embossing on this because the ink takes so long to dry on vellum.
