The Crafty Collaborations Team is comprised of Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators from around the world. Each month we participate in several collaborative projects, including Blog Hops, like this one, to inspire all of us in our passion for crafting. Our goal is to create, share, and inspire every crafter to keep our creative energy flowing.
Today’s card is part of our Thanksgiving Blog Hop! Canadians celebrate Thanksgiving October 11 while Americans will celebrate on November 25 this year. I used the Pretty Pumpkins and Time of Giving stamp sets to create a Thanksgiving card for you. I am so Thankful for my family and friends. For whom are you thankful? Be sure to make a few Thanksgiving cards and send them out to those people.

This card layout with a piece of Mango Melody paper from the Brights 6″ x 6″ Designer Series paper pack that is cut on an angle has become one of my “go to” layouts. I call it my “Quick and Easy Card Layout.” You can find complete directions HERE so you can make it yourself.
To make the focal point, I stamped the three pumpkin image from the Pretty Pumpkins stamp set using Memento ink and colored the pumpkins in with the Pumpkin Pie Stampin’ Blends. I used Old Olive Stampin blends on the leaves and Crumb Cake on the stems. Then I cut leaves and vines from Garden Green card stock to add above and below the pumpkins using the dies from the Time of Giving bundle. The “THANKFUL” sentiment is from the Time of Giving stamp set.
I neglected to take a photo of the inside of the card before I sent it, but I used the sentiment “So thankful for you.” I also stamped the decorated pumpkin with Pumpkin Pie ink on the envelope.
