Talk Like a Pirate Day Festive Friday #0192

Welcome to Festive Friday #FF0192 where we are celebrating Talk Like a Pirate Day! My card features the Sunrise Sailing bundle with a bold red & black sailboat. I love the stormy-looking background created from a piece of the Botanical Textures papers.

Here is a close up of just one of the great ships you can create with the Sunrise Sailing bundle.

One of my favorite stamps is the one that creates the wave or reflection of the boat.

instructions for the Talk like a pirate day card

Cut a Basic White Thick card base 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ and score at 4 1/4″. Burnish and fold.
Adhere a 5 1/8″ x 3 7/8″ piece of Botanical Textures DSP to a 5 1/4″ x 4″ piece of Basic Black card stock.
Adhere these to the front of the card base.
Die cut a Basic White circle with the 2nd largest Stylish Shapes die and one large and one small cloud.
Die cut the boat from Basic Black and the sails from Real Red. Adhere the sails to the boat.
Stamp ahoy on the smaller cloud.
Place the boat on the circle and stamp the reflection/waves in Memento Black ink.
Adhere the circle to the background and then add the clouds and ship. (Pop up the ship and one cloud.)
Stamp the three birds- two on the circle and one on the background.
Add three black dots from the Neutral Matte Dots.

Live videos showing additional cards and techniques are presented the weekend of the camp. You will have 26 projects and many tips for successful creating with this suite by the time Stamp Camp is over! It’s a great value!

There are challenges and more! Everything happens in a private Facebook Group that will stay on Facebook for as long as Facebook allows it. We will also upload the videos to YouTube so that those who participate in the stamp camp can view them indefinitely.
