Welcome to the Ink Stamp Share Blog Hop. We are a group of demonstrators that collaborate to bring you inpsiration twice a month. This blog hop is focused on the Online Exclusives. I have chosen the Jar of Joy stamp set and the the Jar Builder punch.

Pool Party and Real Red are the perfect combination on a Christmas card. The patterned paper on this card is from the Nests of Winter pack. A little Crumb Cake and a bit of Early Espresso complete the color palette nicely.
Do you notice the shine on the jars? Do they look a bit like glass? The packing tape technique was used to give them that shine without running the colors. You can watch the video to see how this card was made.
instructions for the Sweetest Christmas with Jar of Joy stamp set!
- Cut a Basic White Thick card base 4 1/4″ x 11″ and score it at 5 1/2″. The fold will go on the left.
- Run a 5 1/4″ x 4″ piece of Real Red card stock through your Cut & Emboss machine using the Glass embossing folder so the top half of the piece is embossed.
- Adhere this to the front of the card.
- Adhere a 2″ x 5 1/4″ piece of DSP to the bottom of the red mat, leaving a small border of red showing.
- Stamp 3 jars on Basic White card stock using Early Espresso ink.
- In one jar stamp the ornaments in Real Red ink
- Stamp the sentiment in Pool Party in one jar
- Stamp the gingerbread man and cookies in Crumb Cake and stamp the cookie details with Real Red ink.
- Punch out the three jars.
- Stamp and Punch three lids- one on Pool Party, one on Real Red, and one on Early Espresso scraps.
- Carefully lay packing tape over the jars and smooth out all the air with your bone folder. Trim.
- Do the same for the lids using packing tape.
- Use Tear & Tape to adhere the lids to the jars.
- Attach the left and right jar flat to the card front.
- Pop the sentiment up in the middle with dimensionals.
- Add several white Starburst Sequins.
- Stamp the sentiment in Real Red in the inside.
