To be honest, I’ve always been wary of paper piecing but I had the urge to give it a try. It was not as difficult as I expected. In fact, it was pretty easy. I used the detailed flower die to cut out the bouquet in Basic Black. Then I cut it again in Polished Pink. Before I removed the die from the card stock, I flipped it over and put a small dot of liquid glue on the back of the Polished Pink petals on the largest flower. Then I carefully “popped” them out with my Take Your Pick tool and set them into the frame. I repeated this for the smaller flowers using Mint Macaron.
The sentiment is stamped in Soft Succulent in the lower right corner. I love this sentiment from Hand-Penned. It seems so sweet! The Genial Gems was the last element of this Hand -Penned Suite that I used on this card. I used 3 of the green gems and decided that the card was now complete. I hope my card has inspired you to make a card and brightened your day. When you purchase the Hand-Penned Suite using this host code (HXC94BMV) you will be registered for the event.
