Sweet Springtime Alternative Card

The Crafty Collaborations Team is comprised of Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators from around the world. Each month we participate in several collaborative projects, including Blog Hops, like this one, to inspire all of us in our passion for crafting. Our goal is to create, share, and inspire every crafter to keep our creative energy flowing.

Today our theme is Sweet Springtime Paper Pumpkin alternative cards. This is one of my favorite blog hops. I love to make the Paper Pumpkin kits as instructed but sometimes I have to cut apart those card bases to make even more cards. That’s what I did for this cutie.

This card was so quick and easy to make. The gingham patterned paper is actually 1/2 a card base that I cut apart and trimmed to 5 1/4″ x 4″. Then using a circle cut with the 7th from the center Deckled Circle die the bunny was stamped. To break the bunny up from the background she was outlined with a Light Balmy Blue Stampin’ Blend. The bunny’s nose and ears were colored with a Light Bubble Bath Stampin’ Blend.

The green flowered piece was die cut from one of the treat boxes using the smallest Deckled Rectangle die. One treat box can be sacrificed and used for all three cards you can make like this. The sentiment is included in the Sweet Springtime kit as is the twine and bling. Viola! You’ve added three more cards to your kit by supplying only a few Thick White card bases and the Deckled Circle.
