Stained Glass Technique with Artistically Inked

Welcome to the Technique Squad blog hop. Today’s theme is the Stained Glass Technique. A Pinterest or Google search will show you lots of variations of this technique. Here is what I did with it!

The blended background behind the black die cut is hopefully reminding you of stained glass. This technique would work with any intricate die.

Here is a photo of the inside of the card. I kept it simple so you can write your message with plenty of space.

Orchid Oasis card base: 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, score at 4 1/4″
Basic Black Mat: 3 7/8″ x 5 1/8″
Basic White: 3 7/8″ x 5 1/8″
Basic Black for sentiment: 3/4″ x 3 7/8″
Basic White for inside 5 1/4″ x 4″

Techniques across the Border Classes

Brought to you by ChatnCraft with Lorraine and Stamping with Melva! Melva Peters is a friend and wonderful Stampin’ Up! demonstrator from Canada. We will team together to teach these fun and informative classes.

General Information:

Join Melva and me to learn (or learn more) about a new technique each month. Our class will be held via Zoom on the 3rd Saturday of the month from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM Eastern Time. We will explore the technique and make 4 projects in each class.

There are 2 options for each class:

Option 1 – Class Cost $35 and includes 4 projects and a selection of supplies you need to make the projects
Option 2 – If you have the products for the technique – Class Cost FREE with an order of at least $35 before shipping and taxes
