Spring Corners Double Z Fold

Welcome to Festive Friday #FF0176 where we are celebrating National Wedding Month! Below you will see our Inspo List that was inspired by this holiday. We hope the Inspo list will challenge you to create card based on the theme and/or the inspiration list. My card is a Wedding card but yours doesn’t have to be! There is a new Festive Friday Challenge every other week.

Remember, your project does not have to celebrate the actual occasion- just make a card, 3D item, or scrapbook page using 3 items on the list. Here’s another look at my National Wedding Month creation (#FF0176) creation.

This card features the Spring Corners stamp set which is a new online exclusive and a piece of patterned paper from the Mixed Media Florals paper pack. That cool “corner” sentiment is from Spring Corners while the other two are from the Something Fancy stamp set. I chose the following items from the Inspo List: pearl. fancy fold, and congratulations sentiment.

instructions to make the Spring corners Double Z fold Card

Cut a Basic White Thick card base 4 1/4″ x 11″ and score it at 2 3/4″ and 5 1/2″.
Fold your card in half on the 5 1/2″ score line with the 2 3/4″ score line at the front.
With the fold on the left, fold the top piece back to the left on the 2 3/4″ score line. Burnish your folds.
Cut your patterned paper to 4″ x 5 1/4″, 4″ x 2 1/2″ (2 pieces).
From the folded position, pull the card open and adhere your patterned paper to the two small sections on the left and the larger section on the right.
Cut the smaller Boho Blue card stock to 3 1/2″ x 9 3/4″ and score it at 2 3/4″ and 5 1/2″.
Fold in a similar way to the first card base BUT flip it over so the larger section is on the top, the fold is on the right and the smaller piece that’s folded to a “Z” is underneath.
Cut three pieces of Basic White: 3 1/4″ x 4″, 3 1/4″ x 2 1/2″ (cut 2).
Stamp your corner sentiment on the largest Basic White piece and die cut the flower from the lower right hand corner.
Adhere to the largest “top” section of the Boho Blue card.
Stamp your sentiments on both of the smaller white pieces and adhere to the smaller sections.
Add your adhesive to the smaller underside section and center the entire smaller card on the largest section of the first card base. (See the video if unsure.)
Close the larger card base and have the smaller card base overlap it as shown. Adhere just the left side of the smaller card base to the top piece of the larger card base.
Add three Iridescent Pearl Basic Jewels to the front.
