Welcome to Crafty Collaborations Fall Fun Fold blog hop. We hope we inspire you to create a few fall cards that will WOW your recipients. I have chosen to make a Center Easel card with gorgeous Splendid Autumn papers.

The Splendid Autumn papers are all quite beautiful and this is one of my favorites. I decorated it simply- it doesn’t really need anything- with just a single die cut flower from the Cheerful Daisies bundle. And that sentiment….isn’t it great? That is from the Citrus Blooms stamp set. I stamped it on a banner from the most used pack of dies in my craft room- Stylish Shapes.
instructions for the splendid autumn center easel fold card
- Cut an Old Olive card base 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ and score at 4 1/4″.
- Open your card base and cut from the top edge down to the score line in 1 1/2″ from each side. Then adhere the two side pieces shut!
- Score the center piece that is not glued down 2″ from the fold.
- Cut 2 pieces of Crushed Curry card stock 1 3/8″ x 4 1/8″ and adhere to the right and left side of the card base (the glued down pieces.)
- Also from Crushed Curry cut a 1 7/8″ x 2 3/8″ piece and adhere to the top portion of the easel flap; a 2 1/8″ x 2 3/8″ piece and adhere to the bottom portion of the flap; and a 2 3/8″ x 4 1/8″ piece for the inside of the card.
- Trim your 6″ x 6″ piece of patterned paper to 4″ x 5 1/4″ in landscape orientation.
- Starting with the left edge, trim off 1 1/2″. This gets adhered to the left hand side piece.
- Cut a piece 2 1/4″ wide. Turn it 90 degrees and cut it at 1 3/4″. These will be adhered to the top and bottom of the easel flap.
- The last piece should be 1 1/2″ and gets adhered to the right side of the card.
- Cut a piece of Basic White 2 1/4″ x 4″ and adhere to the inside.
- Stamp your sentiment on a scrap of Crushed Curry. Die cut with the small thin banner die.
- Use dimensionals to attach the banner die to the inside of the card in the correct position to hold the easel portion folded.
- Use Early Espresso to stamp the small daisy flower and die cut.
- Die cut a stem and leaves from Old Olive.
- Adhere the stem and leaves to the lower portion of the easel. Add the flower with adhesive only on the portion below the easel’s fold.
- Add some bling!
