Simplest Things Card for National Family Week #FF0197

Welcome to Festive Friday #FF0197 where we are celebrating National Family Week! Below you will see our Inspo List that was inspired by this holiday. We hope the Inspo list will inspire you to create card based on the theme and/or the inspiration list. As you can see my card doesn’t really celebrate that holiday, and that is okay! There is a new Festive Friday Challenge every other week.

This card features the Everyday Arches dies and a peek at a new stamp set- Petals of Beauty which is a November Online Exclusive. I chose bright colors, ephemera, patterned papers, and masking from the Inspo List below.

Here is a look at the inside of the card. You can see the beautiful piece of patterned paper from the Brushed With Beauty paper pack. That sentiment is from the Saying Something Mix & Match ephemera.

Measurements to make this card

Darling Duckling Card Base: 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ scored at 4 1/4″, place the largest Everday Arches die just off the fold of the card stock and die cut
Early Espresso cut with 2nd largest Everyday Arches die
2 Basic White pieces cut with 2nd largest Everyday Arches die
1 Basic White Piece & 1 piece of DSP cut with the 3rd largest Everyday Arches Die
Masking paper die cut with the 8th smallest Everyday Arch

Remove the backing from the Masking paper arch and center it on the smallest Basic White Arch.
Using the Petals of Beauty Stamp set, stamp three clusters of leaves with Garden Green ink.
Stamp 4 of the large flowers -more solid stamp- after stamping off with Calypso Coral ink.
Stamp the overlay of the flowers in full strength Calypso Coral ink over the first images.
Fill in around the leaves and flowers with stamped off triple flowers using Calypso Coral ink.
Add dots around the flowers in Darling Duckling. The dots are from the You are Remarkable stamp set.
Carefully remove the masking paper and stamp the sentiment in Garden Green ink.
Adhere this to the Early Espresso Arch and adhere them both to the front of the card base.
On the inside left, adhere a Basic White arch and then the designer series paper arch. Add the Darling Duckling banner cut with the 3 Banner punch and the sentiment from the ephemera pack.
Stamp Thanks so Much from the Impressions Abloom stamp set in Garden Green on the last Basic White piece and adhere to the inside of the card.
Add three Darling Duckling Muted palette dots.
