Silly Goose Thanks Card

Welcome to the Demonstrator Training Blog Hop. Every month we hop with the theme of Thank You or Congratulations. I’ve created this Silly Goose Thanks card in Melon Mambo!

I love the bright, happy and cheerful card and think my customers will enjoy it as well. The inside is sure to make them smile!

instructions

1. Cut a Melon Mambo card base 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ and score at 4 1/4″.
2. Place the polka dot mask on a 3 1/4″ x 4 1/4″ piece of Basic White. Blend Melon Mambo ink over the mask with a blending brush.
3. Adhere the polka dotted piece to a 3 3/8″ x 4 3/8″ piece of Basic Black and adhere and center on the card front.
4. Ink the “ground” stamp from Trucking Along with Memento ink and stamp off first. Then stmap on the bottom of the 2″ x 2 3/4″ rectangle cut with the Perennial Postage dies. Adhere this to the center of the card.
5. On a scrap of Basic White, stamp the goose holding the “Thanks” sign in Memento ink. Color the beak and feet with a Pumpkin Pie Stampin’ Blend. Color the banner with the light Melon Mambo ink. Fussy cut out the goose.
6. Adhere to the postage die with dimensionals.
7. Add three Melon Mambo sequins from the Adhesive Backed Shiny Sequins.
8. On a 5 1/4″ x 4″ piece of Basic White, stamp “sending a big honkin’ thanks.” Add a partial head of a goose peeking out from the bottom of the Basic White mat.
9. Adhere to the inside of the card.
