Welcome to the Autumn or Halloween Themed Ink Stamp Share Blog Hop. Today I have used the Encircled in Nature stamp set and dies to create an Autumn themed card for you. I frequently drive an hour north of our home to visit our daughter and the foliage has been amazing. I just had to make a card with a bit of my own fall color!

The Fern 3D embossing folder makes the perfect backdrop for this fall leaf. Cajun Craze, Crushed Curry and Old Olive provided a beautiful combination of fall foliage. A ribbon and a few sparkly gems finish off the card and your can send your greeting. Speaking of greetings, this Sending Happy Thoughts from the Artful Amaryllis stamp set has become a go to greeting for me. It works for so many occasions.
instructions for the sending happy thoughts autumn card
- Cut a Thick Very Vanilla card base 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ and score at 4 1/4″.
- Adhere a 5 1/4″ mat of Old Olive to the front.
- After using the large wreath/circle die cut from Encircled in Nature dies to cut an opening in a 3 3/4″ x 5″ piece of Cajun Craze card stock, run it through the Cut & Emboss machine in the Fern 3D embossing folder.
- Adhere to the Old Olive mat.
- Stamp “Sending Happy Thoughts” in Early Espresso ink in the center of the opening.
- Die cut the wreath from Early Espresso. Adhere around the “circle” cut in the Cajun Craze piece.
- Cue cut two sprigs of leaves from Old Olive, Cajun Craze and Crushed Curry card stock. Use glue to adhere around the lower 2/3 of the wreath.
- Tie a small bow with the Basic Beige ribbon and adhere.
- Add 5 Adhesive Backed Metallic Gems around the wreath.
- On the inside of the card base, stamp “You made my day” in Early Espresso ink.
