I recently offered a Paper Share of 10 new Designer Series Papers (DSP) and of course, I kept one for myself. Well, I have to confess….I am in love with having 6 x 6 papers ready to use and at my fingertips. I am using them faster than I can say, “Let’s order more!”
One of the packs that I was attracted to immediately is “See a Silhouette” as it’s bright and has a batik style to it. I’ve already used it to make this birthday card. (page 134 in the catalog.)
Next I chose a piece with flowers on it and a piece of paper with leaves on it. The white edges around them make it so easy to cut them out.
I hope you don’t think I was cheating but I CASEd a card from the 2019-20 Annual Catalog. You can see it on p.132. (THERE ARE SO MANY INSPIRING CARDS IN THE CATALOG. Think of it as an idea book too!) I adhered the flowers first and then tucked the leaves behind them. It was done in a snap! I did add a sentiment directly on the card front. I thought a simple “Hello” (from May’s Paperpumpkin kit) would do the trick.
So, here’s a beautiful card with just a bit of DSP and one stamp! Simple and beautiful.
See the list of products I used below!
Have fun!
