Seaside Wishes Friendship Card

Welcome to the Stamping with Friends Blog Hop. Today our theme is Annual Catalog Bundles. I have chosen to use the Seaside Wishes bundle for my card today.

You can see the amazing opportunities you have for textures with this bundle if you look closely at the card. This bundle includes a HYBRID embossing folder, dies and stamps. Everything on this card was made with the bundle. This is one you will definitely want to add to your collection.

instructions

Cut an Azure Afternoon card base 4 1/4″ x 11″ and score at 5 1/2″. Fold and Burnish. This card will be in landscape orientation with the fold on the left.
Run a 5 1/4″ x 4″ piece of Basic White through the Hybrid Embossing folder.
Flick your Crumb Cake and Azure Afternoon blends over the Basic White to “speckle” it.
Adhere this to the card front.
Color the “Beach” on a 2″ x 3 1/4″ piece of Basic White. Use the Dark Crumb Cake blend on the bottom. Color strips with the Light Azure Afternoon blend and then the Light Balmy Blue blend.
Flick a bit of 91% of Isopropyl Alcohol over the coloring to make “water” droplets.
Mat this piece on a piece of Azure Afternoon card stock cut 2 1/8″ x 3 3/8″.
Use the hybrid embossing folder with the large die inserted inside to die cut the sand dollars from Azure Afternoon card stock. Pop the two smallest dies on the front of the card with dimensionals.
Use the left over piece of Azure Afternoon to die cut three pieces of sea weed. This gives you texture to those pieces. Tuck them behind the sand dollars.
Die cut the lacey die from a Basic White scrap and use a small piece of a dimensional to add to the card front.
On a small piece of Vellum, heat emboss the sentiment and fussy cut.
Stamp the rocks in Crumb Cake ink on a 5 1/4″ x 4″ piece of Basic White. Add the sentiment “love you” directly over that. Adhere to the inside of the card.
