Welcome to Crafty Collaborations and our Creating with Scraps Blog Hop. We are hoping to inspire you to use that pile of scraps you’ve been saving! We all have hopes of using our scraps but sometimes find it difficult to do so. Today we are bringing you ideas!

Here’s a Scrappy Strip card I made with scraps from the Bright & Beautiful patterned paper pack. It is a fun pack for so many types of cards. While I chose a “hello” sentiment it easily could have a birthday or thinking of you sentiment. I think it also works well for a masculine card.

These cards are quick and easy to create. They can be addicting and before you know it, your making scraps just so you can make this card!

Measurements

Card Base 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″
Contrasting card stock 5 1/4″ x 4″ and 5″ x 3 3/4″
Basic White for inside: 5 1/4″ x 4″
Scraps for sentiment
Patterned paper scraps….at least 5 1/2″ to 6″ long

Christmas Stamp a Stack

Join me each month starting in July for my 2024 Christmas Stamp-a-Stack. We’ll make 8 cards each month (2 each of 4 designs) so you’ll be getting ahead on your Christmas cards each month.

Cost is $40 (local) or $45 (by mail) each month or free with a minimum of a $45 order (before taxes and shipping).

Two options – in person or by mail.

In Person – class will be held on the last Monday (July, Aug) or Wednesday (Sept, Oct, Nov) of each month at 6:30 pm.
By mail – Zoom will be held on the last Tuesday of each month at 2:30 pm. The class will be recorded and available via YouTube, to watch (or rewatch) at your convenience. You will substitute your own stamp sets or add the stamp set/dies to your order.

Each month there will be an option to purchase the stamp set or bundle we will be using. Costs will be based on product used.
