Relax Father's Day Card with Waterside Retreat Suite

Welcome to Festive Friday #FF0211 where we are celebrating Father’s Day! Below you will see our Inspo List that was inspired by this holiday. We hope the Inspo list will inspire you to create a card based on the theme and/or the inspiration list. Your card doesn’t have to celebrate the holiday. It is okay for it to look very different! There is a new Festive Friday Challenge every other week.

This Father’s Day card features the Watersi de Retreat papers and the Relaxing Waterside stamp set. The nautical stripe is one of my favorite patterns from this paper pack. the life jackets, vest and oars were all fussy cut from the paper. That awesome sentiment is just perfect for all the men on Father’s Day. The Dewdrops embellishments are a nice touch for this card.

A small stripe from the patterned paper and another life vest give a touch of color to the inside of the card.

instructions for the Relax Father’s day card

Cut a Misty Moonlight card base 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ and score at 4 1/4″.
Adhere a 3 7/8″ x 5 1/8″ piece of striped patterned paper to a 5 1/4″ x 4″ piece of Basic White.
Adhere this to the front of the card base.
Use the second largest rectangular Perennial Postage die to cut another piece of Basic White.
With Misty Moonlight Ink, stamp Relax and Happy Father’s Day in the lower right hand corner.
Fussy cut the vests and oar and adhere with dimensionals.
Adhere this piece to a 4 5/8″ x 3 3/8″ piece of Misty Moonight card stock and adhere to the card front.
Add three Secret Sea colored Dewdrops Embellishments.
On a 5 1/4″ x 4″ piece of Basic White, adhere a 3/8″ strip of patterned paper and another life vest.
Adhere to the inside of the card base.

The Waterside Retreat Stamp Camp includes prerecorded videos and a bundle of written tutorials showing how to make the 13 Make & Take card kit cards. Live videos showing additional BONUS cards and techniques are presented the weekend of the camp in an exclusive FaceBook group.
