Radiant Sunflower Thinking of You Festive Friday #0217

Welcome to Festive Friday #FF0217 where we are celebrating Stand Up to Cancer Day! Below you will see our Inspo List that was inspired by this holiday. We hope the Inspo list will inspire you to create a card based on the theme and/or the inspiration list. Your card doesn’t have to celebrate the holiday. It is okay for it to look very different! There is a new Festive Friday Challenge every other week.

This rich fall card features Golden Glow and Early Espresso colors with a bit of Mossy Meadow and Cajun Craze. The die cut sunflowers fit so nicely on the stitched squares resting on a warm gingham background. The sunflowers and the sentiment are from the Radiant Sunflower bundle.

Another die cut sunflower, this time with a stem is just the right way to finish off this card!

instructions for radiant sunflower Thinking of You card

Cut, score and burnish a 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ card base. (Scored at 4 1/4″)
With the 8th banner from the center, die cut a piece of Early Espresso card stock.
Die cut the Golden Glow Gingham paper witht the 7th banner from the center.
Adhere the gingham banner to the Early Espresso banner. Adhere both to the front of the card.
Using the 2nd smallest Stylish Shapes square, die cut a Mossy Meadow, Cajun Craze, and Early Espresso square.
Die cut 4 sunflowers from a piece of Golden Glow card stock. Adhere two Early Espresso and one Cajun Craze die cut center to the flowers.
Adhere the flowers to the squares with dimensionals.
Adhere the squares to the front of the card.
Stamp the sentiment with Early Espresso ink on a scrap of Cajun Craze and fussy cut the words.
Adhere to the front of the card.
Add Radiant Gems to the front.
Die cut a small stem with leaves and adhere to the last sunflower. Adhere both to the Basic White insert.
Adhere the mat to the inside of the card.
