Quiet Meadow Simple Stamping

The Crafty Collaborations Team is comprised of Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators from around the world. Each month we participate in several collaborative projects, including Blog Hops, like this one, to inspire all of us in our passion for crafting. Our goal is to create, share, and inspire every crafter to keep our creative energy flowing.

Today’s Blog Hop has the theme of Simple Stamping. Simple stamping is just Stamps, Inks and Paper. Even though it may be hard not to use die cuts or embossing, beautiful cards can be created with Simple Stamping.

I love the look of stamping with white ink on a dark background so I decided to use that idea for my Simple Stamping today. The Quiet Meadow stamp set has a great bunch of stamps for layering your stamping or making a collage. The images and the sentiments are from the set. The white ink has a slight blue tint to it because of the Boho Blue mat, I think. I will use this as a sympathy card and so I stamped the heartfelt message inside.

Instructions for the Quiet Meadow Simple Stamping Card

1. On a piece of Basic Black cut 3 3/4″ x 5″, stamp the stem of flowers and single flower using White Craft Ink.
2. Stamp the words and dots after stamping off once for each image.
3. Stamp the “thinking of you” sentiment.
4. Adhere the stamped piece to a Boho Blue mat cut 3 7/8″ x 5 1/8″ and adhere that to the card base.
5. On the Basic White mat, “heartfelt love…” and the small flowers using Tuxedo Black Memento ink.

Since this is Simple Stamping, you are done!
