The daisy makes such a happy card! And this one is quick and easy. I started with a piece of lovely lipstick (5 1/4″ x 4″) and using the larger of the two daisy punches I punched a full daisy just left of center. Then using the smaller punch I punched several more, making sure that one of the daisies was partially “off the page.” I saved the punched out daisies to use on the inside or on the envelope.
Next, adhere your punched piece to a card base of whisper white thick card stock. I used my 3/4 inch and 1/2 inch punch to make centers of the daisies. For this card, I used Pineapple Punch card stock. By the way, both the Lovely Lipstick and Pineapple Punch card stock are retiring soon.
Lastly, I stamped a greeting and cut it out with one of the stitched rectangle dies. I did put one of the punched daisies inside the card as well.
I hope you’ll give this technique a try! Maybe you have another punch that would leave a pretty negative….I think I have a leaf punch that would work! I might just have to try it!
