Pick of the Patch Thank You Card

The Crafty Collaborations Team is comprised of Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators from around the world. Each month we participate in several collaborative projects, including Blog Hops, like this one, to inspire all of us in our passion for crafting. Our goal is to create, share, and inspire every crafter to keep our creative energy flowing.

The theme of our blog hop today is Autumn. I happen to love Autumn and fall color making this an easy theme with which to create. My Pick of the Patch Thank You card uses a new stamp set from September – December Mini Catalog. The patterned paper comes from the Them Bones pack of patterned paper. It has mildly spooky Halloween on one side and great fall patterns on the other.

I love to stamp on the card stock to add to a background. Here I used a small leaf stamp to stamp randomly down the right side of the card base. I think it balances the paper from the left hand side. I absolutely love the pumpkins and the cute little swirly vines you can stamp! This stamp set is so much fun!

Instructions for PIck of the Patch Thank you card

Cut a Pecan Pie card base 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ and score at 4 1/4″. Fold and burnish.
Using Pecan Pie ink, stamp the leaves along the right hand side of the card base.
Adhere a 2 3/4″ x 5 1/4″ piece of Them Bones patterned paper to the left side of the card base.
Stamp 2 pumpkins in Pumpkin Pie ink on a 3″ x 4 1/4″ piece of Basic White.
Add stems and a tree with Pecan Pie ink.
Stamp leaves and a squiggly vine with Old Olive ink.
Mat this Basic White masterpiece on a 3 1/8″ x 4 3/8″ piece of Old Olive. Adhere to the card base.
Punch a 1 3/4″ circle with the punch and stamp Thanks So Much in Pecan Pie near the top.
Add a Pumpkin Pie pumpkin and a Pecan Pie stem. (That’s a lot of pie! LOL!)
Adhere to the front with dimensionals.
Add three Pecan Pie embellishments from the Adhesive-Backed Speckled Dots.
Adhere a 3/4″ x 5 1/4″ piece of the same patterned paper as on the front to a Basic White mat cut 5 1/4″ x 4″ to the inside of the card.
