Perennial Lavender Birthday

Welcome to the Stamping With Friends Blog Hop. Today we are inspired by a Tic Tac Toe Challenge. We created a card using the 3 elements found in one row of the Tic Tac Toe board- either horizontally, vertically, or diagonally.

Here is the card I created using Perennial Lavender paper and the Perennial Postage dies.

You can see from the Tic Tac Toe board below that I used DSP, Free Space, and Vellum.

What row would you choose if you were to take this challenge?

instructions

1. Cut 4 pieces 1″ x 3″ of the Perennial Laveder paper and arrange on a 3 1/4″ x 4 1/2″ piece of Basic White with a border around and between each piece. Before adhering the pieces down, flip the third piece over to green. Adhere in place.
2. Adhere the Basic White piece to a 3 3/4″ x 5″ piece of Gorgeous Grape and adhere that to the front of a Crumb Cake card base cut 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″.
3. Cut a scrap of Basic White with the smallest Perennial Postage die and stamp Happy Birthday in Gorgeous Grape ink. Add to the card front with dimensionals.
4. Use a blending brush or sponge dauber to color a butterfly with Gorgeous Grape ink. Add to the front of the card with glue and dimensionals.
5. Add Iridescent Pearls.
6. On a piece of Basic White cut 5 1/4″ x 4″, stamp a leaf from the Inked & Tiled stamp set in Lost Lagoon.
