The Sending Good Thoughts Paper Pumpkin kit is one spectacular kit. If you haven’t received a Paper Pumpkin kit in a while, you will be surprised. Each kit is better than the last. The picture (above) shows the cards as designed for this kit.
I did create a couple of cards using the included stamp kit, a die cut piece, and card stock. I do love to use the stamps after I’ve finished with the kit.
Have you seen the Picture This Dies? I love this set of dies. I always create two cards each time I use them. One with the “frame” and one with the “pieces.” Here are the two cards that I created:
This first card uses the rectangle framed piece. I created a water color wash on a piece of Fluid 100 paper in honor of World Watercolor Month. I then splattered it with a bit of water after it dried. I stamped directly on this background with Bermuda Bay, Early Espresso and Momento inks.
This card uses the “pieces” that came out of the frame. I love that they have the stitched edges. This clean and simple card uses a piece of Basic White embossed with the Timeworn Type EF and a bit of linen thread. The seaweed was stamped with Bermuda bay. I did use one of the bottles from the kit with this card.
