Welcome to the Stampin Dreams blog hop. Out theme this month is Time to Celebrate. I pulled out my One More Year stamp set to celebrate a several birthdays. Here’s the first card.

Berry Burst is the perfect color to make this Botanical Texture pop! The circular flap on this Flap Fold is just perfect for a platter of wine and cheese. The image and the sentiment are both part of the One More Year stamp set. It has fun sentiments that poke gentle fun at aging.
On the inside of the flap there is a birthday cake with almost one million candles on it. I think the black and white cake complements the black and white paper well.

When you finally open the card all the way, one more sentiment is revealed.

It’s sure to get a chuckle as it continues to poke fun at the joy of aging. This is an easy fun fold to make and I hope you give it a try.
instructions for the one more year flap fold card
- Cut a Berry Burst card base 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ and score at 4 1/4″. Then cut 1″ from the top flap of the card base. Set it aside.
- Adhere a 3″ x 5 1/4″ piece of Textured Botanicals paper to the front flap.
- Stamp the inside sentiment on a 5 1/4″ x 4″ piece of Basic White.
- Trim the 1″ piece cut from the front to 3″ x 1″ and score it on the 3″ side at 1/2″.
- Adhere the folded 1/2″ piece to the back of the stamped piece of Basic White.
- Adhere this to the inside of the card.
- Die cut a 3″ circle from Berry Burst with the Stylish Shapes dies.
- Die cut (2) 2 3/4″ “Paper Plate” circles with the Spotlight on Natures dies.
- Adhere the strip of Berry Burst to the top of the Berry Burst circle.
- Stamp the wine and cheese, etc on the “paper plate” circle. Color with Blends.
- Stamp the cake on the second “paper plate” circle. Adhere to the back side of the Berry Burst circle.
- Stamp the “aging” sentiment on a scrap of Basic White. Cut with the largest banner die from the Stylish Shapes dies. Shorten the die cut by placing it inside the banner die again. WATCH the video for instruction in this.
- Pop the sentiment up on the front with dimensionals.
- Add 3 Berry Burst gems from the Tinsel Gems 4 Pack to the front of the card.
