Mother Ocean Day with Waterside Retreat #FF0208

Welcome to Festive Friday #FF0208 where we are celebrating Mother Ocean Day! Below you will see our Inspo List that was inspired by this holiday. We hope the Inspo list will inspire you to create a card based on the theme and/or the inspiration list. Your card doesn’t have to celebrate the holiday. It is okay for it to look very different! There is a new Festive Friday Challenge every other week.

This Happy Birthday card features the Waterside Retreat suite. There are three different patterns of paper from the Waterside Retreat paper pack. They have soft fun masculine patterns and it was hard to choose which ones to use. That great Adirondack chair looks so inviting- your favorite guy can rest up with a book and cold beverage. I think Gray Granite and Misty Moonlight make a great color combo.

instructions for the waterside Retreat birthday card

1. Cut a card base 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ and score at 4 1/4″. Fold and burnish.
2. Cut your patterned papers as follows:
   • left most (wood grain) 1 1/8″ x 2 3/4″
   • right side (fish) 2 1/4″ x 3 3/4″
   • bottom (wave pattern) 1″ x 3 1/2″
3. Adhere these to a Gray Granite panel cut 3 3/4″ x 5″.
4. Adhere to the front of the card base.
5. Stamp the birthday greeting on a scrap of Gray Granite with MIsty Moonlight ink and die cut with a small Perennial Postage rectangle.
6. Samp the chair on a piece of Misty Moonlight card stock and cut out with the corresponding die.
7. Stamp the book on a Basic White scrap and die cut with the corresponding die.
8. Pop the chair up on the front with dimensionals. Adhere the book to the arm.
9. Adhere the sentiment with dimensionals as well.
10. Stamp Relax and It’s your day on a 3 1/2″ x 4 3/4″ piece of Basic White.
11. Adhere the stamped panel to a 3 3/4″ x 5″ piece of Gray Granite.
12. Adhere these to the inside of the card.

The Waterside Retreat Stamp Camp includes prerecorded videos and a bundle of written tutorials showing how to make the 13 Make & Take card kit cards. Live videos showing additional BONUS cards and techniques are presented the weekend of the camp in an exclusive FaceBook group. You will have 26 projects and many tips for successful creating with this suite by the time Stamp Camp is over! It’s a great value!

There are challenges and more! Everything happens in a private Facebook Group that will stay on Facebook for as long as Facebook allows it. We will also upload the videos to YouTube so that those who participate in the stamp camp can view them indefinitely.

You can get a 1/4 pack of 11 different packages of papers. These papers will be cut into 6″ x 6″ pieces and packaged and labeled with the name of the paper and its coordinating colors. You can get all this for $45 picked up or $50 shipped.

Embellishment Share

This will give you a partial pack of 7 packages of new embellishments. These two will be labeled and packaged for you to know exactly what you have. These are $20 pick up and $25 mailed.
