Welcome to our Technique Tuesday blog hop. This month the theme is embossing folders. I am sharing a card made with the Peaceful Greenery 3D Embossing Folder.
This card uses a piece of designer series paper from the Gathering Together paper pack. First the center of the DSP was removed with the larger label die from the Peace on Earth bundle, then it was embossed in the embossing folder.
A bit of gentle tracing of the outline of the opening on the gold foil provided enough structure to where the heat embossing should be done. The Early Espresso heat embossing just pops on the gold foil. The Merry Christmas is from the Seasonal Tags stamp set. The two layers where then adhered together and added to the Old Olive card base.
Two sprigs of leaves from the Peace on Earth dies were cut in Early Espresso and then adhered to the front. A bit of Old Olive twine made the perfect bow. Three gold embellishments from the Strawberry Slush & Pretty Pink Gems were then added to the front.
One more sprig of leaves was cut from the same DSP as the front of the card and adhered to the left side of the Basic White mat. The sentiment was stamped in Early Espresso ink and then the mat was adhered to the inside. It was a quick and beautiful card to create.
