Merry Christmas Card For National Jumper Day #FF0198

Welcome to Festive Friday #FF0198 where we are celebrating National Jumper Day! Below you will see our Inspo List that was inspired by this holiday. We hope the Inspo list will inspire you to create card based on the theme and/or the inspiration list. As you can see my card doesn’t really celebrate the holiday, and that is okay! There is a new Festive Friday Challenge every other week.

I chose Christmas Colors, Embossing Folder and a “warm wishes” sentiment from the Inspo List. These beautiful pine boughs and the Merry Christmas sentiment are from the Seasonal Tags stamp set. The Traditional Wreath 3D embossing folder was used on the front of the card base. You can see it peeking out on the right side.

instructions for the Merry Christmas Card

Cut an Old Olive card base 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ and score at 4 1/4″.
Emboss the front flap of the card base with the Traditional Wreath embossing folder.
On a piece of Basic White cut 3 1/2″ x 4 3/4″, stamp the pine bough coming down from the top left corner. Use the Early Espresso Stampin’ Write marker to ink the stems and the Mossy Meadow Stampin’ Write marker to ink the pine needles.
Stamp Merry and Christmas in Real Red below that pine bough.
Stamp another pine bough reaching up from the bottom to the the sentiment. Use the markers again to ink the stamp.
Add the berries to the pine boughs.
Mat this piece on Real Red cut 3 3/4″ x 5″ and then wrap with Black & White & Gold Baker’s Twine and tie a bough.
Adhere to the front of the card base.
Add three Traditional Sparkling Sequins to the front.
On the insert, stamp the pine bough (inked with markers) and then the sentiment.
Adhere to the inside.
