The Crafty Collaborations Team is comprised of Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators from around the world. Each month we participate in several collaborative projects, including Blog Hops, like this one, to inspire all of us in our passion for crafting. Our goal is to create, share, and inspire every crafter to keep our creative energy flowing.
Our blog hop today centers around the March Paper Pumpkin kit called Memorable Meadows. It coordinates with the Garden Meadow suite available as an Online Exclusive. Here are the contents of the kit with the exception of the TWO stamp sets.
Usually there is only one stamp set, but Paper Pumpkin was born in March so we get an extra stamp set in honor of its birthday! Here is the “regular” stamp set.
And this beauty is the bonus stamp set. You won’t ever want to miss a March Paper Pumkin box again!
For my alternatives I tried to add very little to the kit as that’s the best part of Paper Pumpkin. Everything you need is in the box and you can just sit down and create.
Here is my first alternative.
I must admit, I cut the card bases into 2 card fronts whenever there is a printed “back” to the card. The back of the card base is too pretty to be hidden. By cutting the card base into TWO 5 1/4″ x 4″ card fronts, I can make more cards!
For this card, I cut a circle out of the front with a Deckled Circle die and layered it onto a Fresh Freesia circle cut with the next size bigger die. Then I popped it up on the front. My sentiment is from the included stamp set, I just heat embossed it onto the Gorgeous Grape shimmer paper.

Isn’t that flower so cute? I just love it.
I couldn’t wait to play with the BONUS stamp set. I am always a little leery of Two Step Stamping. Sometimes it can be hard to line up the images but this stamp set was a breeze to line up.
Here’s my card.
This card is on a Berry Burst card base with Berry Burst flowers. I simply stamped off onto scrap paper before I filled in the flower. The leaves and dots are Old Olive. I can’t wait to go make many more of these cards in different colors.

Techniques across the Border Classes

General Information:
Join Melva and me to learn (or learn more) about a new technique each month. Our class will be held via Zoom on the 3rd Saturday of the month from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM Eastern Time. We will explore the technique and make 4 projects in each class.
There are 2 options for each class:
Option 1 – Class Cost $35 and includes 4 projects and a selection of supplies you need to make the projects
