Lovely & Sweet Congratulations Collage

Welcome to our bimonthly Ink Stamp Share blog hop. Our theme today is the January to April Mini Catalog or Sale-a-bration. I have chosen to use the Lovely & Sweet stamp set from the Nature’s Sweetness Suite. I love the way you can build a collage background with these stamps and the Sweet Almond flower is so pretty.

I randomly stamped three images from the Lovely & Sweet stamp set in Crumb Cake on a piece of Basic White until I had the mat pretty much filled in. The flower was stamped with Moody Mauve ink on and die cut with the corresponding die. Then I colored it with the Moody Mauve and Crumb Cake blends.

I love how beautiful this almond flower looks in whatever color you stamp it. I’ve done it in several colors and even whitewashed it, as well.

Use Crumb Cake ink to stamp your background on a piece of 3 7/8″ x 5 1/8″ piece of Basic White. Use the “Field” stamp, the small flower, and the cross hatch stamp to cover the mat.
Adhere this to a 4″ x 5 1/4″ Moody Mauve mat.
Cut a Moody Mauve card base 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ and score at 4 1/4″. Adhere the mats to the front of this card base.
Die cut the 2nd largest Nested Essentials shape from Crumb Cake card stockand adhere to the mats.
Stamp the almond flower in Moody Mauve on a piece of Basic White. Color with the Moody Mauve and Crumb cake blends.
Add a few “loops” of Linen Thread onto the Nested Essentials shape. Tape in place.
Use dimensionals to adhere the die cut almond flower over the loops.
Stamp Congratulations in Moody Mauve and die cut with the small sentiment die from the Sending dies. Use dimensionals to adhere to the base of the flower.
On a second piece of Basic White cut 5 1/4″ x 4″ stamp the cross hatch in the lower left corner and adhere to the inside of the card.

Here is a very similar card. I stamped the background on Crumb Cake and matted it on white.

Do you have a favorite? I think I like the one with the Basic White collage a bit better.
