Welcome to the Ink Stamp Share Showcase Hop. Today I’ll be sharing the first three cards I made with the Lovely Garden Suite- a new March Online Exclusive. It’s such a beautiful suite.
Here are the first two cards that I created. The card on the left shows a layout that works if you are not one who loves to color stamped images. The second card, on the lower right, was cased from the samples on line. The Stampin’ Up! samples – either in the catty or on line- are usually one of the first places I look for inspiration.
Those lovely leafy die cuts and both the patterned papers and ribbon are also part of the suite. Do you have a favorite of these two? I’d love it if you tell me in a comment below.
I couldn’t wait to play with the masks. I love using masks and trying out different colors with them. I stuck with traditional colors for this card.
This set comes with a cool die that cuts out three small blooms from the larger flower so you can layer additional blooms for a really full look. I also stamped the stem and leaves twice, colored them both with the masks and die cut them. Then I trimmed the second set of leaves and layered it at the bottom of the first stem to extend it a bit. The sentiment hides the “overlap” of the two stems. I forgot to put a few of the beautiful sequins on this card! Oops!

The Lovely Garden Stamp Camp includes a Make & Takes for 6 projects. Each project will focus on a different FUN FOLD and a different TECHNIQUE. Join me this month for my Card Class in the Mail- All Occasion Stamp-a-Stack. We’ll make 8 cards (2 of 4 designs) so you’ll have a supply of cards on hand for all occasions. For August we will use the Inspiring Imperfections stamp set.
Cost is $35.00 (local) or $40 (by mail) or free with a minimum of a $50 order (before taxes and shipping and after any Stampin’ Rewards are applied).
Two options – in person or by mail.
- In Person – class will be held on the last Wednesday of the month at 6:30 pm.
- By mail – Zoom will be held on the last Tuesday of the month at 3 pm. The class will be recorded and the replay available via YouTube if you can’t attend the class. You can substitute stamp sets or add the stamp set/punch to your order and use your own inks.
There is the option to add on the stampset or bundle. You can choose to add the stamp set ($19) or the stamp set and punch bundle ($42.25). Shipping will be on me!
