Lovely & Beautiful Spotlight Card

Welcome to Festive Friday #FF0204 where we are celebrating St Patrick’s Day! Below you will see our Inspo List that was inspired by this holiday. We hope the Inspo list will inspire you to create a card based on the theme and/or the inspiration list. Your card doesn’t have to celebrate the holiday. It is okay for it to look very different! There is a new Festive Friday Challenge every other week.

This Sending Love card features a paper from the Lovely & Beautiful DSP pack and a heat embossed sentiment from the Banner Sayings Stamp set. The Spotlight Technique was used to highlight the section of the beautiful gold foil paper cut out with an Everyday Arches die. This was colored in with Stampin’ Blends in Soft Sea Foam, Highland Heather, and Petal Pink. A bit of the gold twine from the Black & White & Gold Twine adds a bit more sparkle.

The inside is decorated with another small piece of the gold foil DSP colored in a similar way and adhered to the bottom.

Instructions for Lovely & Beautiful Spotlight Card

Cut a Crumb Cake card base 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ and score at 4 1/4″.
Adhere a Soft Sea Foam mat cut 5 1/4″ x 4″ to the front of the card base.
Cut a piece of the Gold Foil DSP to 3 3/4″ x 5″.
Choose an Everyday Arches die to cut out the center section. The exact size doesn’t matter.
With the next larger Everyday Arches die, cut a piece of Fresh Freesia card stock.
Color the DSP with Soft Sea Foam, Fresh Freesia and Petal Pink Stampin’ Blends.
Adhere the outer frame to the Soft Sea Foam mat.
Adhere the “colored in” piece of DSP to the Fresh Freesia mat.
Wrap with the twine and tie a bow.
Pop up these layers with dimensionals.
Heat emboss the “send the love” sentiment on a scrap of Fresh Freesia using Versamark Ink and gold embossing powder.
Cut out the banner using the Three Banner Punch.
Use dimensionals to add it to the front of the card.
On a 5 1/4″ x 4″ piece of Basic White, adhere a 1/2″ x 4″ piece of “colored in” DSP to the bottom.
Adhere to the inside of the card.
