Love & Courage for World Card Making Day #FF0193

Welcome to Festive Friday #0193 where we are celebrating World Card Making Day! I must admit it is one of my favorite days of the year! Here is my card.

The Love & Courage stamp set is perfect to create an encouraging, supportive card. I love the positive affirmations and the sunflower. This background was created with the Forever Plaid 3D embossing folder. I used blue, pink, ribbon and rhinestones from the Inspo List below.

When I was making this card, I thought I might want to put the circle on a background stamped with the word Hope. Well, I didn’t love it as a background for the front so I put it inside the card. What do you think?

I love having the left hand side decorated as well. And, how about that sentiment? Isn’t that perfect. I will be sending this off to a friend shortly. I want her to know that she is not alone!

instructions for the Love & courage Hope Card

Cut a Blueberry Bushel card base 4 1/4″ x 11″ and score at 5 1/2″. Orient the card so the fold is on the left.
Run a 5 1/4″ x 4″ piece of Blueberry Bushel through your cut & emboss machine in the Forever Plaid embossing folder.
Adhere this to the front of the card base.
Stamp the sunflower/word stamp on a piece of Basic White with Pretty in Pink ink and die cut with a 3 1/4″ circle from the Spotlight on Nature Dies.
Pop that up on the front.
On another 5 1/4″ x 4″ piece of Blueberry Bushel card stock, stamp HOPE in Blueberry Bushel ink randomly until it is filled.
Adhere to the inside left panel of the card base.
On a piece of Basic White, stamp the inside sentiment in Blueberry Bushel. Be sure to hold the paper in landscape orientation. (IYKYK)
Stamp a heart with Pretty in Pink ink under the sentiment.
Adhere to the inside of the card base.
Add several rhinestones to the front of the card.
Tie a small bow and add with a glue dot. (I added this after the video.)

Live videos showing additional cards and techniques are presented the weekend of the camp. There are challenges and more! Everything happens in a private Facebook Group that will stay on Facebook for as long as Facebook allows it. We will also upload the videos to YouTube so that those who participate in the stamp camp can view them indefinitely.
