Welcome to the Stamping With Friends Blog Hop. Today we have a Bloggers’ Choice Hop for you so we can share any project we’d like. I am sharing a card made with the bright and cheery Lily Pond Lane paper pack.
I love this layout that showcases three of the patterned papers. It could even highlight four if you used a fourth pattern for the large background piece. I added a small Spotlight on Nature circle and the Hello from the Citrus Blooms Stamp set.
Viola! You have a card and the patterned papers did all the work and it didn’t take a lot of supplies to make this card.
instructions for the lily pond lane Hello card
- Cut a Thick Basic White card base 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ and score at 4 1/4″.
- Adhere a 5 1/4″ x 4″ piece of Lily Pond Lane paper to the front of the card base.
- Cut three different patterns of paper to the following sizes:
- 1/2″ x 4″
- 3/4″ x 4″
- 1 1/4″ x 4″
- Adhere these strips to a piece of Basic White cut 3″ x 4 1/4″.
- Wrap the Pretty in Pink ribbon around this piece and tie a bow. Secure it in place with a glue dot.
- Pop this piece up centered on the front of the card base.
- Cut the 1 5/8″ dot and dash” circle with the Spotlight on Nature circles from a scrap of Basic White.
- Stamp “hello” from the Citrus Blooms stamp set using Pretty Peacock ink and pop this up above your bow on the front of the card.

Christmas Stamp a Stack
Join me each month starting in July for my 2024 Christmas Stamp-a-Stack. We’ll make 8 cards each month (2 each of 4 designs) so you’ll be getting ahead on your Christmas cards each month.
Cost is $40 (local) or $45 (by mail) each month or free with a minimum of a $45 order (before taxes and shipping).
Sign up for the full 5 months and you’ll receive a $25 bonus in product of your choice.
Two options – in person or by mail.
- In Person – class will be held on the last Monday (July, Aug) or Wednesday (Sept, Oct, Nov) of each month at 6:30 pm.
- By mail – Zoom will be held on the last Tuesday of each month at 2:30 pm. The class will be recorded and available via YouTube, to watch (or rewatch) at your convenience. You will substitute your own stamp sets or add the stamp set/dies to your order.

Each month there will be an option to purchase the stamp set or bundle we will be using. Costs will be based on product used.
The October kit will use the Sweetest Star bundle from the September – December Mini Catalog!
