Let Your Adventure Begin Card

Welcome to Festive Friday #FF0183 where we are celebrating National Golf Day! Below you will see our Inspo List that was inspired by this holiday. We hope the Inspo list will challenge you to create a card or project based on the theme and/or the inspiration list. Your card doesn’t have to relate to National Golf Day at all! There is a new Festive Friday Challenge every other week.

To play along with us just use three or more items from the inspiration list on your project and link up to the #festivefridaychallenge. You don’t need a blog to enter Festive Friday. Remember, your project does not have to celebrate the actual occasion- just make a card, 3D item, or scrapbook page using 3 items on the list. Here’s another look at my Earth Day (#FF0183) creation.

My Let Your Adventure Begin card used green, plaid and a retirement sentiment from the Inspo List. I am excited to share the new Scenic Adventures stamp set and dies that will be released on May 6, 2025. It is such a great bundle and will be so helpful with masculine cards. Here I’ve paired it with a piece of Timeless Plaid DSP and a small arch from the Everyday Arches die set. I think the sentiment is just perfect for a retirement card for retirement is an adventure.

instructions for creating the LEt your adventure Begin Card

Cut a Mossy Meadow card base 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ and score at 4 1/4″.
Adhere a piece of Timeless Plaid DSP cut 3 7/8″ x 5 1/8″ to a Pecan Pie mat cut 5 1/4″ x 4″.
Die cut your mountain from a piece of Misty Moonlight card stock. Make sure the pointed edges of the die hang over the edge of the card stock slighlty.
Adhere the mountains to the matted plaid DSP and trim the edges.
Adhere this to the front of the card base.
Die cut three trees from Mossy Meadow and adhere to the front with dimensionals.
Stamp the “Let the begin” stamp in Mossy Meadow on a Basic White scrap.
Add the word “adventure” in the middle with Misty Moonlight ink.
Die cut with the second smallest Everyday Arches die.
Adhere to the front.
On a 5 1/4″ x 4″ piece of Basic White, stamp the Just Breathe and Take it Slow sentiment in Misty Moonlight ink.
Stamp two trees in Mossy Meadow on the lower right hand corner.

Free International Stamp Camp- order Now

Creativity Abounds next international Stamp Camp will be online on June 27-28th and will feature the Celebratory Sips Suite. You can attend free by purchasing all the items in the Suite from me. If you already own these products, purchase $79 from me of anything you want. This is an amazing suite and you won’t want to miss it!

Stamp Camp is for Demos and Customers. You’ll have all kinds of ideas for your classes or personal use. If you already own these products or not all are available, you can choose anything you want totaling $79 or more. You will need the products listed to make all the Make and Take kits as presented, but unavailable items can be purchased and finished anytime after the Stamp Camp.

The Celebratory Sips Stamp Camp includes prerecorded videos and a bundle of written tutorials showing how to make the 13 card kit cards. Live videos showing additional cards and techniques are presented the weekend of the camp. You will have 26 projects and many tips for successful creating with this suite by the time Stamp Camp is over! It’s a great value!

There are challenges and more! Everything happens in a private Facebook Group that will stay on Facebook for as long as Facebook allows it. The first 17 Stamp Camps we’ve done are still available to the participants. We do 3-4 online stamp camps per year and most people who have participated once, do all of them because they are fun, informative, and it’s a really great deal! You will love it! April Card Class

Join me this month for my Card Class in the Mail- All Occasion Stamp-a-Stack. We’ll make 8 cards (2 of 4 designs) so you’ll have a supply of cards on hand for all occasions. For August we will use the Inspiring Imperfections stamp set.

Cost is $35.00 (local) or $40 (by mail) or free with a minimum of a $50 order (before taxes and shipping and after any Stampin’ Rewards are applied).

Two options – in person or by mail.

In Person – class will be held on the last Wednesday of the month at 6:30 pm.
By mail – Zoom will be held on the last Tuesday of the month at 3 pm. The class will be recorded and the replay available via YouTube if you can’t attend the class. You can substitute stamp sets or add the stamp set/punch to your order and use your own inks.

There is the option to add on the stampset or bundle. You can choose to add the stamp set ($19) or the stamp set and punch bundle ($42.25). Shipping will be on me!

Registration is on going but if you delay, you may not receive your packet in time for class. YOU MUST
