Welcome to the Stamping With Friends Anything But a Card Blog Hop. Today I have an adorable Layered Circle Treat holder to share with you. It’s fun and quick to make. It’s also easy to decorate so that makes it a win all around!

This one uses a fun Real Red polka dot piece of paper from the Take a Bow pack and circles cut with the Deckled Circle Dies and the Spotlight on Nature dies. Isn’t that Made with Love sentiment just perfect? That’s from the My Small Business stamp set. The holly leaves were borrowed from the Reindeer Fun stamp set and set off the sentiment so well.
instructions for the layered circle treat holders
- Start with a 5″ x 5″ piece of Real Red card stock and score it at 1/2″, 1 1/2″, 3 1/2″ and 4 1/2″.
- Turn it 90 degrees and score at 2″ and 3″.
- With the 2″ and 3″ score line running vertically, cut up both the 2″ and 3″ score line to the second horizontal score line. (Watch the video for demonstration.)
- Then cut off the first, narrow rectangle to the left and right of the center score lines.
- Turn the piece 180 degrees and repeat on the center score lines again.
- Fold and burnish all of the score lines.
- Fold in the small flaps and put glue on the inside of each one.
- Then fold in one half of the box and adhere the sides.
- Put glue on the inside of the large flaps that are not yet secured. Wrap those to the outside of the box and hold to adhere.
- Use the 8th Deckled Circle die (counting from the center) and cut 2 circles.
- Use the 2nd largest Fleur de LisSpotlight on Nature die and cut 2 circles.
- Adhere the smaller circle to the larger circle. Score at 1/2″ on the bottom.
- Adhere the small 1/2″ portion to the bottom of the treat box being sure to center it.
- Add the second set of layered circles to the other side.
- Die cut a circle or two to stamp and layer your sentiment. Pop it up on the front.
- Fill your treat box with the desired treats.
- Use a punch to punch a small hole in each circle at the top center.
- Thread a ribbon through the holes and tie a bow.
- Add a bit of bling to the front.
