Welcome to the Crafty Collaborations Share it Sunday Blog Hop. This is the chance for us to show you any paper crafting project we would like. I’m choosing to show you this fun and GORGEOUS kit I’ve been completing. This is the Expressions of Kindness kit. It creates 8 beautiful cards- four each of two designs. Remember, it’s all inclusive- ink, block, stamps, adhesive, everything but scissors.

Here are the cards as designed by the kit creators.

Here is the second one. I did actually use the “just a note” sentiment rather than the happy birthday sentiment on this second card as that’s what I need right now.

Although I easily could have continued to make them as directed- they are gorgeous just the way they are- I decided you deserved to have an alternate or two.

Here’s the first alternate card I created.

To create this card,

cut a card base in half and then trim the back piece to 5 1/8″ x 3 7/8″.
cut a Lost Lagoon mat 5 1/4″ x 4″ and die cut the 3rd largest Deckled Rectanglet from the center then adhere this to the front of a Blackberry Bliss card base
use the 4th largest Deckled Rectangle to die cut the patterned piece of the card base- cutting slightly to the left of center to get three flower buds
center and adhere the large piece of the floral card stock to the center of the Lost Lagoon mat
Mat the floral die cut piece on the Lost Lagoon die cut piece and then place on the card front
Add your sentiment stamped on a small label punch from the Perennial Postage dies cut from Lost Lagoon and stamped with Blackberry Bliss ink
add some bling!

Well, of course I had to make a card with the front piece of the card base that I cut off. Here’s that card.

This card was quick and easy to use by die cutting all those pieces with the Perennial Postage dies- at the same time. The pieces were laid out on the card front like this:

The outside frame of the die cut piece was adhere to a Blackberry Bliss card base and the individual rectangles were adhered to the correct spaces with dimensionals. The sentiment is stamped on the same small label die cut using Blackberry Bliss on Wild Wheat card stock.

Christmas Stamp a Stack

Join me each month starting in July for my 2024 Christmas Stamp-a-Stack. We’ll make 8 cards each month (2 each of 4 designs) so you’ll be getting ahead on your Christmas cards each month.

Cost is $40 (local) or $45 (by mail) each month or free with a minimum of a $45 order (before taxes and shipping).

Two options – in person or by mail.

In Person – class will be held on the last Monday (July, Aug) or Wednesday (Sept, Oct, Nov) of each month at 6:30 pm.
By mail – Zoom will be held on the last Tuesday of each month at 2:30 pm. The class will be recorded and available via YouTube, to watch (or rewatch) at your convenience. You will substitute your own stamp sets or add the stamp set/dies to your order.

A color PDF with instructions to make the 7 cards using the card kits. This will include VIDEOS demonstrating creating these cards as well.
