Welcome to the Crafty Collabortions Share It Sunday Blog Hop. Today we share whatever we’d like to inspire you to make a card or project.

This card has three different hearts from the Hearts of Elegance bundle- nothing special there. BUT, I decided not to layer them as that makes it bulky. I inlaid the hearts INTO each other. It was fun and pretty easy.
The Marbled Elegance paper is so beautiful and I love the sentiment “sending lots of love.” I think that is my favorite one in the stamp set.
Did you notice the background? That is the Starstruck Embossing folder (I think I called it Starcrossed in the video) that you can earn for FREE during Sale-a-bration. It adds a really nice touch to the background.
Here’s a look at the inside of the card.

This Inlaid Hearts card is not difficult to make. I hope you will give it a try.
instructions for the Inlaid heart valentine
- Cut a Pretty in Pink card base 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ and score at 4 1/4″
- Use the Starstruck Embossing Folder to emboss a piece of Basic White cut 5 1/4″ x 4″.
- Adhere to the front of the card base.
- Die cut the largest stitched heart from Melon Mambo card stock.
- Die cut the second largest plain heart from the Marbled Elegance patterned paper. Keep that die handy.
- Die cut the leafy heart from Pretty in Pink card stock. Hang on to that die, too.
- Lay out your hearts on your card front (but do not adhere) as you’d like them.
- Then replace the marbled heart with the corresponding die. Run the large Melon Mambo heart through your Cut & Emboss machine with the die in place.
- Remove the cut out piece of Melon Mambo and replace with the marbled heart. Turn this over and use clear tape to hold the hearts together.
- Return to right side up and place the leafy die where you’d like to cut that heart. Die cut it.
- Replace the pieces cut out/off- with the pink heart. Be sure to replace the pointy piece of the Melon Mambo heart that got cut off, too. Turn over and tape all these pieces in place.
- Pop the three hearts up on dimensionals on the front of your card.
- Stamp your sentiment on a Basic White scrap in Melon Mambo and die cut with the second smallest Countryside Corners dies.
- Adhere to the front.
- On a 5 1/4″ x 4″ piece of Basic White, stamp Happy Valentine’s Day in Melon Mambo ink. Then Stamp the leafy heart in the lower left corner.
- Adhere to the inside.
- Add three gold Low Profile dots on the front of the card.
Here’s a replay of my FaceBook Live which goes through how to make this card and shows you a second card made like this – but NOT A VALENTINE!
