It’s a secret! I hate to admit it but…. I if there’s a die that can cut a piece of card stock to the right size, I’d much rather use a die than try to cut something myself! I recently purchased the Layering Square Framelits Dies and they have made my life so much easier. I just look at all my options for squares….Pick one that will hold the size image I want and VIOLA! I have the perfect space to start stamping! For this card, I used two hanging plants from Hanging Gardens using the biggest straight edged square, rather than scalloped, because the background paper is a bit busy. I popped it up with dimensionals. |
The sentiment is also from the Hanging Gardens set! I stamped it with Fresh Fig and then found a long thin rectangle from the Stitched Rectangle Framelit dies and cut it out. I punched little holes for the ribbon and adhered that with glue dots on the back. The entire sentiment was attached with dimensionals.
I also stamped a few butterflies in the inside of the card along with another sentiment “To one of the loveliest people I know”- all from the same stamp set. I love a set that has all I need!
I used a tranquil tide card base (8 1/2 x 5 1/2) and tranquil tide ink, too! I’m sorry to say that many of the items used are retiring on June 3! Click on any of the products pictured below to go to my store or click on the Last Chance products pictures to check out what is retiring.
Happy Stamping to You!

Wow, I love the hanging garden stamp set! Why is tranquil tide retiring? How long will supplies be available?
Hi Nadine!
I love that Hanging Garden stamp set too! Tranquil Tide is retiring because it’s one of the 2017-2019 In Colors. Stampin’ Up! replaces these on a rotating basis to keep things current! If you like the color….stock up soon! It’s available while supplies last or until June 3! Then it’s gone!
Great idea!
Thanks, Michele. I miss you and your crafty talent! xoxo
