Heat Embossing with Linked Together Decorative Masks

Welcome to the Technique Tuesday Blog Hop. Today we are hopping with the theme of stencils or masks. We hope to inspire you to dig out your masks and make a few cards.

This card was created by using heat embossing with the Linked Together Decorative Masks. The combination of copper embossing and Boho Blue is one of my favorites. Boho Blue is a soon to be retiring color and I am so sad to see it go. The copper foil leaves are such a great focal point on this card.

Here is another card made with heat embossing and the Linked Together Decorative masks.

For this card, I paired gold embossing with Pretty Peacock. The focal point is the Mixed Floral stamp die cut and left uncolored. I love the contrast of the simple stamp with the intricate background.

I have one last combination of heat embossing with these masks.

On this card, white heat embossing was used on Summer Splash card stock with Pretty Peacock ink. It was not fond of it until I gently tore it in half and added the large butterfly from Beautiful Butterflies to the front. I think it makes a great birthday card.

Join me this month for my Card Class in the Mail- All Occasion Stamp-a-Stack. We’ll make 8 cards (2 of 4 designs) so you’ll have a supply of cards on hand for all occasions. For August we will use the Inspiring Imperfections stamp set.

Two options – in person or by mail.

In Person – class will be held on the last Wednesday of the month at 6:30 pm.
By mail – Zoom will be held on the last Tuesday of the month at 3 pm. The class will be recorded and the replay available via YouTube if you can’t attend the class. You can substitute stamp sets or add the stamp set/punch to your order and use your own inks.

There is the option to add on the stampset or bundle. You can choose to add the stamp set ($19) or the stamp set and punch bundle ($42.25). Shipping will be on me!
