I had the urge to use a stencil today so I grabbed the polka dot mask from the Basic Pattern Decorative Masks pack and my blending brushes. I applied Fresh Freesia, Pale Papaya, and Polished Pink inks to create a subdued background. I matted the background on a piece of Fresh Freesia card stock.
My focal image is the large flower bouquet stamp from the Hand-Penned Petals bundle. I stamped it on white with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and then used the “fill in” stamps along with the In Colors to color them in. For all of the colors, I stamped off first so that softer colors were obtained. When filling it in was complete, I cut it out with an outline die. Then I cut a second outline in the Fresh Freesia Shimmer Vellum. I matted the flower on this piece by cutting the vellum in the middle and adhering it with a small border on the top and the bottom. I stamped the sentiment in Fresh Freesia and used the banner from the Tasteful Labels dies to cut it out.
I hope that you have added these 2021-2023 In Colors to your stash! They are so summery and so much fun! Please “hop” along to the next name in the list and be inspired by their creation as well!
I’m looking forward to this event and I hope you will join us!
