it’s time to share our card from our ChatnCraft with Friends Zoom this past week. We made a Folded Christmas Tree card that you are going to LOVE! It’s super cute and very easy. I have a very brief video that shows you how to fold the tree step by step.
I chose patterned papers from the Season of Green and Gold paper pack and used the largest Stylish Shapes die to cut my circle. The shape behind the tree is from the Wildflower Designs dies. (The bundle they are a part of is on sale today.)
Cutting Your Papers:
Card Base 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″ scored at 4 1/4″
Card stock Mat 5 1/4″ X 4″
Basic White Card stock for inside 5 1/4″ x 4″
Patterned Paper mat 5″ X 3 3/4″
Tree base 1/2″ X 1″
Sentiment strip 3″ X 1″ or die cut
Die cut for behind tree – smallest hexagon from Wildflower Designs dies
LARGE DSP circle -Largest Stylish Shapes die or Punch; Deckled Circle die
(It’s good to have contrast between the two sides. You will see both.)
Ruler, scissors, bone folder, small Dimensionals
Cut 2 card bases, 2 mats …. cut 2 of everything but the LARGE circle to make 2 cards.
DIe cuts, ink, bling, label for sentiment to decorate the Basic White circle

Instructions for Folded Christmas Tree Card
1. Fold and burnish your card base.
2. Adhere the card stock mat to the front.
3. Adhere the patterned paper mat to the front. (Or you could use card stock embossed with your favorite embossing folder here!)
4. Use your trimmer to cut your large patterned paper circle in half.
5. Watch the short video to see how to fold the circle!
6. Put a dimensional between each layer of the folded tree to give it dimension.
7. Adhere the tree to your die cut shape and then adhere to the front of the card base.
8. Add some bling to your tree to look like lights!
9. Stamp your sentiment on the strip of paper and adhere below the shape the tree is on.
10. Add a 5 1/4″ x 4″ piece of Basic White to the inside.
I hope that you will give this card a try. It’s so pretty and definitely one you could use to make several holiday cards. Please hit replay and ask if you have any questions.
