Welcome to Crafty Collaborations Share It Sunday Blog Hop. For this hop, we get to share with you any project we’d like. I’m sharing this Pop Up Shadow Box Card. I’ve made several using the Fruit Salad DSP that is still free with any qualifying purchase for just 5 MORE DAYS! You will be so sad if you miss out on this paper. It is so fun and will be perfect for cards this spring and summer!

I would never have predicted combining Pecan Pie and Real Red card stock on a card but I pulled the colors from the patterned paper and I love it. I”m also a huge fan of that sentiment from the Crafting With You Stamp set.

This view gives you a better idea of the “pop up” part of the card. It does fold flat to fit in our regular envelope. Here’s the back of the card.

The thinking of you sentiment is from the Happiest Day stamp set. It goes well with the handmade hug sentiment, don’t you agree?
Instructions for the Fruit Salad pop up shadow box card
Cutting Your Papers:
Pecan Pie Card Base 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″
Pecan Pie Top (curved) Card Base 6 1/4″ x 5 1/2″
Real Red (Contrasting) Card stock 3/8″ x 5 1/2″ (cut 2) and 5 1/4″ x 4″
Patterned Paper 3 1/4″ x 5″
Basic White 5 1/4″ x 4″ (on the back)
Die cuts to decorate
Sentiment and label
1. Adhere the 3 1/4″ x 5″ piece of Patterned Paper to the 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ piece of card stock. Set aside.
2. Take the larger base and place the 6 1/4″ side at the top of your trimmer, score each side at 1/2″ and 1″.
3. Center your Everyday Arches or other shaped die in the center of this piece and run it through your Cut & Emboss machine.
4. Adhere the Real Red (contrasting) card stock to the underside of the piece you just die cut. Turn it front side up and center a smaller Everyday Arches die in the opening. Die cut.
5. Flip this piece over again and fold the score lines closest to the center toward the center. Burnish.
6. Next, fold the next score lines back toward the edge of the card.
7. Those edges should form a Z fold.
8. Fold them up and put Tear & Tape on the folded piece. Adhere to the sides of the flat card base (that has the patterned paper adhered to it.)
9. Adhere the thin strips of Real Red card stock to each side of the Z folds so they peek out just a bit.
10. Stamp your sentiment on a small label punch. Fit inside your framed opening on dimensionals.
10. Add a die cut or two to the front of the card. Or fussy cut out a piece of fruit as I have done.
11. Embellish.
12. Stamp a sentiment on your 5 1/4″ x 4″ piece of Basic White. Adhere to the back.

Here is one more I made with circle dies instead of the Everyday Arches. The sentiment for this one is from the Storybook Friends stamp set.
